Upcoming events

Our announcements got cut short tonight. Here are some of the great events coming up in our community.

On Tuesday January 25, 2011
Hormones/No Hormones: A Community discussion by GenderQueer Madison
8pm to 11pm at Outreach (600 Williamson St)

This meeting will be a chance for transgender and genderqueer people to discuss our personal decisions about hormone replacement therapy. There is often a divide in our communities between those of us who are on hormones and those of us who don't choose hormones, and/or can't afford HRT. We hope this conversation will be a bridge between us in accepting and supporting every path of transition and gender variance. Kael and Anders will facilitate. The facilitators are FTM identified but anyone who has thought about this question with regard to their own decision(s) is welcome to attend.

Also on Tuesday January 25, starting at 9pm at the Shamrock, the MGHA (Madison Gay Hockey Association) is holding a karaoke fundraiser to help raise money for the league. The MGHA plays every Sunday night, between 6:30pm and 10pm, at Hartmayer Ice Arena (1834 Commercial Ave).
